Tissunion Europ was founded in 1991 as a company dedicated to marketing paper products. The continuing demand and the shortage of supply in the market drove the company to venture into production with the introduction of a line of mini handkerchiefs the following year.

Over the years, with increasing demand and the need for new products, Tissunion Europ has updated its machinery, purchasing technologically more advanced machinery and it has expanded its production, introducing standard handkerchiefs and cosmetic tissues.

In August 2004, the operational site was moved to its new premises in the town of Altopascio. The production area covers an 12,500 square metres, with a covered area of 5,000 metres.
